Peer Tutoring

The OASIS provides peer-tutors to assist students with various academic courses that are offered each semester. Tutoring may be individual or small group sessions. There is no charge to IW students who use tutors in the OASIS. Students who need assistance in a course are encouraged to schedule an appointment by completing the form below or calling 385-6383. Students can also drop in to see a tutor at the posted times for the course in which they are seeking assistance.

The Peer Tutoring Program of the OASIS is seeking International Certification through the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) on all three levels: regular, advanced, and master. To become a tutor in the OASIS, tutors must complete required training, have received a grade of “A” or “B” in the course for which they are tutoring, and the recommendation of the course professor.

Tutoring sessions are currently held in the OASIS at Chadwick Library. It is best to fill out the form below to make an appointment.
