Admissions Information

The Office of Admissions evaluates each candidate for admission on an individual basis and admission decisions are made based on criteria set each year.

Students accepting their offer of admission to IW are asked to submit an enrollment deposit, Residential students, $150 and Commuter students, $100. The enrollment deposit must be paid prior to course registration and is applied toward the first semester’s tuition. Students wishing a refund of their enrollment deposit should submit a written request to the Office of Admissions by May 1 for fall semester and December 1 for spring semester.

Have you earned college credits at another institution? Visit our Transfer Guides page for a list of all the courses that will transfer from the different institutions in the region.

Iowa Wesleyan prides itself on being a four-year residential institution providing an environment where students can grow and discover themselves. Residence life is intended to create opportunities for students to develop deeper relationships that turn acquaintances into friends and family. Go to Campus Housing for more information.
