Summary of Position:

The Graduate Assistant for the Wellness Clinic will provide assistance with various Health and Wellness initiatives, pandemic and other health-related duties, and other tasks as assigned while working alongside our Campus Nurse, Assistant Director of Wellness and Campus Counselor, and the Office of Student Development.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work with Health Team to provide support for Campus for health-related needs (such as meal delivery, administering tests, Driving tests to the lab, and moving/caring for those in isolation and quarantine.
    • Plan and Implement prevention and promotion activities with the Campus Nurse and the Assistant Director of Wellness and Campus Counselor.
    • Graduate assistants may be exposed to students who have illnesses, yet protective gear is provided.

Compensation and Proposed Work Schedule:

  • The Graduate Assistant’s tuition waiver
  • Semester stipend $1,000
  • Working no more than 29 hours each week
  • Student and supervisor will determine weekly work schedule
  • Weekends, evenings, and possible travel may be required for this position to participate in scheduled events

Additional position-specific requirements:

  • Highly Accurate execution of work with attention to detail
    • Basic knowledge of excel sheets
    • Ability to handle confidential data


  • Bachelor’s Degree required,
  • Enrolled in IW Graduate Program
  • Valid US Driver’s License with the ability to be authorized to drive IW fleet vehicles for team transportation to and from away contests required.
  • Must be available for night and weekend responsibilities.
  • Ability to function as a team player
  • Ability to complete tasks independently
