Let’s Talk Drop-In Consultation

“Let’s Talk” is a drop-in service that offers an informal, confidential consultation with Lauren Bigger, Mental Health Coordinator.

Let’s Talk consultations are:

  • FREE for IW students
  • Offered first-come, first-served (no appointment necessary during drop-in times)
  • Typically about 20-25 minutes in length
  • Informal, and not a substitute for counseling
  • Not appropriate for urgent concerns or mental health emergencies

Let’s Talk is not a substitute for counseling and does not constitute mental health treatment. Let’s Talk consultations can discuss specific problems, help explore solutions, and introduce you to what it’s like to speak with a counselor.

When is Let’s Talk available?

Let’s Talk is first come, first serve, no appointment needed but is only available during the walk-in times:

  • Tuesday and Thursday between 2:00pm-3:30pm
  • Location alternates between Library Veterans Lounge, Science Hall classroom, and McCurdy/Espy
