Commencement Ceremony
Iowa Wesleyan University would like to congratulate all of the graduating students on their achievements.
Schedule of Events – Saturday, May 1st, 2021
Baccalaureate – This ceremony will be pre-recorded. This will be showcased on the IW website and IW social media pages at 10:30 am (CST) on May 1st.
Commencement Ceremony – This ceremony will be held in the Ruble Arena. There will be two ceremonies split up between majors.
1:00PM (CST) Ceremony:
- All Master’s Degree Students
- Bachelor Majors: Psychology, Criminal Justice, Human Services, and Biology
- Graduating students must come to the Social Hall at 12:45 to start lining up.

3:00 PM (CST) Ceremony:
- Bachelor Majors: Nursing, Education, Business Administration, Digital Media Design
- Graduating students must come to the Social Hall at 2:45 to start lining up.

Maximum Number of Tickets: Each student is allowed two tickets for friends or family to watch commencement within the Ruble Arena. The two tickets will be given out during commencement practice. The Chapel will hold the overflow area where the ceremony will be live streamed on campus. Seating in the Chapel is first come, first serve. We will start seating in the Chapel at noon for the 1 PM ceremony and at 2 PM for the 3 PM ceremony.
