Lauren Bigger, MA, LMHC

Lauren Bigger, MA, LMHC is the Mental Health Coordinator at Iowa Wesleyan University. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Greenville University and a Master of Arts degree from McKendree University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Her experiences in mental health include working with a diverse background of people groups including refugees from Bosnia, Pakistan, Iran, Congo, and many more while providing individual and group counseling in St. Louis, MO. She also has experience providing crisis counseling and assessment to all ages, from child to adult, from years of experience in a psychiatric hospital. Her primary mode of psychotherapy would be Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) but stems from an eclectic view of psychotherapy. Lauren enjoys getting to know college students on a personal level and helping them to find connections, make positive changes, and flourish.
