A Biological Studies track is a biology program at Iowa Wesleyan University that prepares students for communication of scientific knowledge, research, and advanced study in the life sciences. Topics are studies in learning communities as students examine theories and ideas with an experimental inquiry.

Students seeking to become a Biological Studies Major will earn a biology degree that provides a foundation in the study of living organisms — a field that offers a variety of options for graduates. Careers in biology often require research, communication, teamwork, time management, and computer skills. A biological studies major at Iowa Wesleyan combines scientific and research abilities with critical thinking and communication skills.
