Adjunct Visual Communication and Design Instructor
Iowa Wesleyan University maintains a pool of individuals who are interested in teaching for the university on an adjunct basis in various disciplines at the university. Iowa Wesleyan University is currently seeking adjunct instructors for the upcoming semester to teach:
- Visual Communications and Design – Survey of Visual Communications (3-credit hour course), Multimedia Development (3-credit hour course), Advanced Visual Communications and Design (3-credit hour course).
- MAC Lab Coordinator – Responsible for software and data updates on 14 computers and one server in the Art Department. The coordinator will install updates to Adobe, Mac software and other updates as needed. Other responsibilities include maintenance of instructor-provided data for class use on the computers and server, inventory control of printer supplies, and general cleaning of hardware.
Adjunct positions require a Master’s degree plus a minimum of 18 credit hours in the specific subject matter at the graduate level.Applicants will be contacted if their credentials match the criteria for an opening at our institution. Previous successful college-level teaching preferred. Employment offer contingent upon satisfactory results of criminal background check.
