Adjunct Nursing Instructor
Iowa Wesleyan University is accepting applications for an Adjunct Instructor in Nursing. Adjunct Instructors are contracted on a semester to semester basis and instruction of courses may take place during the evenings, weekends and summer months dependent upon the course offerings during that particular semester.
An Adjunct Instructor in Nursing is responsible for teaching nursing students in the classroom, the clinical environment, and online. An adjunct nurse instructor must possess the knowledge, skills and attitudes of management and leadership, organizational strengths, strong interpersonal and communication skills, current clinical, and professional skills.
Qualifications for the position as an Adjunct Nursing Instructor are
- Registered Nurse in the State of Iowa or eligible for licensure within the State of Iowa
- Master’s degree (preferably) with a major in nursing education or a terminal degree in nursing
- Minimum of three years clinical experience
