Adjunct Instructor of Wesleyan Studies
Iowa Wesleyan University seeks a part-time adjunct instructor in the Wesleyan Studies Program to teach Global Issues online beginning in January 2018. The course will be comparable to the face-to-face course that is taught on-campus.
Qualifications: Preferred candidates would have a Master’s degree with at least 18 hours of graduate course work in subject matters relevant to the course (cultural diversity, international studies, global issues, philosophy, ethics) and/or experience working with international groups. Experience teaching at the collegiate or secondary school level is desirable. Successful candidates should demonstrate a commitment to excellent undergraduate instruction. Participation in assessment of student learning is also required. Teaching focus on experiential or active learning strategies is preferred..
