Iowa Wesleyan University seeks a part-time adjunct instructor in the Wesleyan Studies Program to teach Global Issues online. Adjunct Instructors are contracted on a semester to semester basis and instruction of courses may take place either face to face or online during the evenings, weekends and summer months depending upon the course offerings during that particular semester. The course will be comparable to the face-to-face course that is taught on-campus.

Qualifications: Preferred candidates would have a Master’s degree with at least 18 hours of graduate course work in subject matters relevant to the course (cultural diversity, international studies, global issues, philosophy, ethics) and/or experience working with international groups. Experience teaching at the collegiate or secondary school level is desirable. Successful candidates should demonstrate a commitment to excellent undergraduate instruction. Participation in assessment of student learning is also required. Teaching focus on experiential or active learning strategies is preferred..
