Adjunct Instructor of Chemistry
The Iowa Wesleyan University is accepting applications for the position of Adjunct Instructor of Chemistry. This is a part-time, semester-to-semester contracted position beginning in August 2017.
Position Summary: This position will be responsible for teaching Introductory Chemistry courses with associated labs. Additional courses in upper-level chemistry, such as Organic Chemistry, may be taught as well.
Required Qualifications: A Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in chemistry. Successful candidates should demonstrate a commitment to excellent undergraduate instruction. Participation in assessment of student learning is also required. Teaching experience and a focus on experiential or active learning strategies are preferred.
