Iowa Wesleyan University Keeping College Affordable for Iowa Residents
Mount Pleasant, Iowa: January 19, 2018 – Iowa Wesleyan University, a leader in quality, affordable higher education is pleased to announce that all Iowa high school residents may now apply to Iowa Wesleyan and receive 20% off of their tuition and free housing, a $39,600 scholarship over four years at the University.
This scholarship is available to first-year, full-time students living on campus and will be awarded for eight consecutive semesters as long as the student is making satisfactory academic progress.
In addition to the 20% tuition reduction, there are other options to fund an Iowa Wesleyan education. Merit-based scholarships from IW and outside scholarships, along with need based aid, and federal and state grants are also available.

For those who wish to transfer to Iowa Wesleyan from another institution, they may also benefit from the 20% reduction in tuition.
